Medical examiner Papavdi Asteria, in Piraeus, is a graduate of the Medical School of Patras. She trained and received her specialization at the Forensic Sciences Laboratory of the University Hospital of Heraklion and at the Pathological Anatomy Laboratory of the EKPA.
He was re-educated in the USA (Oakland County, Detroit, Michigan) and received his doctorate from the University of Crete. In addition, he has served as a scientific associate of the Kapodistrian University of Athens.
In his practice, he handles cases requiring forensic investigation, including road traffic injuries, domestic violence, etc.
He also undertakes incidents, such as giving an opinion on a file of medical documents, acting as a technical consultant in a necropsy.
